I started NuVia Travel because I know how good travel can be when the details are handled with intention.

I was born and raised in the Netherlands, where traveling across borders was part of life. My mother was from Vienna, Austria, so Europe was not just a destination for me - it was home, family, culture, language, food, and curiosity.

Today, I help busy travelers plan premium European vacations that are personal, well-paced, and carefully organized.



My Travel Style

I believe great travel should feel personal, not packaged.

The best trips usually include a mix of iconic sights, local neighborhoods, excellent meals, thoughtful hotels, private or small-group experiences, and enough breathing room to enjoy where you are.

I also believe in honest advice. If something is worth it, I will tell you. If something is overrated, too rushed, or not the right fit, I will tell you that too.

Why Europe?

Europe is where my travel story began. I grew up exploring the Netherlands, Austria, Germany, France, Belgium, and beyond. I understand how close everything looks on a map, and how different it can feel once you are actually moving between cities, hotels, trains, guides, and experiences.

That perspective helps me design trips that are realistic, enjoyable, and tailored to the traveler.

Did You Know?

Meet my famous great-great Grandfather Julius Ritter von Newald. He was the Mayor of Vienna, Austria from 1878 to 1882!

Maybe he's the reason why I love Vienna so much :)
